All persons, 18 years or older, participating in any way with a youth team registered in any UAYSL league session are required by Alaska Youth Soccer to complete and pass the Safe Sport Training Course prior to any interaction with youth athletes.

This requirement includes, but is not limited to, players, team coaches, managers and adult volunteers in any capacity such as team treasurers or chaperones for team travel. If a person aged 18 or over, is listed on the team roster and/or will be present in the team bench area at any time, that person must complete and pass this training course prior to any interaction with youth athletes.


**Players, who are aged 18 at the time of registration or will turn 18 during the course of the applicable league session, must view and pass the Safe Sport Training course.

The online video course and test will take about 1.5 - 2 hours to view and complete. Please plan accordingly. Follow the steps below in the order listed:

#1. For players or team adults who are not affiliated with a UAYSL member competitive club:  Register for a current UAYSL league session as a team player, coach, manager, team adult or volunteer. All registration events will be posted on the UAYSL website. In doing this you will activate the Safe Sport training option in your GotSport member account.

#2. Log in to your GotSport member account and click on the Safe Sport training link. View, complete and pass the online training. The course will take 1.5 - 2 hours so be prepared for that time frame. Once the course has been passed, it will show up in your member account and a certificate will be emailed directly to you. Safe Sport training can only be accessed through a GotSport member account and is free.

**UAYSL is no longer using StackSports member accounts. We have switched over to GotSport as required by Alaska Youth Soccer, our state organization. Therefore, the "Member Login" button at the top right of the current UAYSL website IS NOT your GotSport member account. If you do not currently have a GotSport member account, you will be prompted to create one when you register for a UAYSL league session as a coach, manager, team adult or 18 year old player.
